The 288-Core Dome Heat Shrinkable Seal Fiber Optic Splice Closure (FOSC) is a device used to protect and connect optical fibers in aerial, underground, wall-mounted, duct-mounted, and handhole-mounted installations. It has a capacity of 288 cores and is made of Modified PP material, which is weather resistant, corrosion resistant, UV resistant, water resistant, and impact resistant. The closure adopts heat shrinkable sealing, which is easy to operate and has reliable sealing performance.

    1. Scope of application

    This Installation Manual suits for the Fiber Optic Splice Closure (Hereafter abbreviated as FOSC), as the guidance of proper installation.

    The scope of application is: aerial, underground, wall-mounting, duct-mounting and handhole- mounting. The ambient temperature ranges from –40℃ to +65℃.
